| Dark Times
Nobody's around, not one living soul. Nothing is here, only distant drums roll. Lightning and thunder above all do bolt, The winds are a-changing, the air's getting cold.
Rain of darkness comes pouring on down,
All that remains is a half-hearted frown. Faces familiar once, faces so dear, Robbed off and leaving not one single tear.
Dark is the hour and blackness draws nigh, Extinguishing lights so high in the sky. Foul voices wailing with hate and despair: Evil surrounds me - it's everywhere.
Rain of darkness keeps pouring down fear, Washing away all the hearts once so dear. Joining in poisonous pools on the street:
This is where fell hearts in shadows do meet.
