Phoney people faking liberty,
Plagued by self-esteemed lack,
Fourteen dollar looking back
Into the Ego.
Into enormous lies.
Into the Ego.
Into huge lusty flies.
Into the Ego.
Faked by money-sucking freaks.
Covered by a joy that leaks.
Faked by expectational
Dreams of the exceptional.
Into the Ego.
We flee and simply die.
Into the Ego.
We travel o so dry.
Into the Ego.
Searching for eternal life
Off the living streams we strife.
Why do we not want to be
According to what destiny
We were created?
It's not outdated.
It's simply true.
Searching for our liberty
We bind us to bonds ten times three.

Plagued by pride we go to kill.
Faked by highs we gladly fill
Our cups and mugs with poisoned stuff.
Never ever get enough
Of our Ego.
But Jesus died for us.
Forget your Ego.
Give Him your life and thus
Get rid of Ego.
