| YOURSELF TO ME
You came into my life and helped me get along, though you not knew me or my grief at all. Mysterious waves appeared and held me like a throng, they swept at me and rolled around my wall.
A wondrous stream of feelings reached my heart from far away, and filled my heart with fear and also joy. I knew not what it was, it came by night and day, I felt like I was nothing but a toy.
And then I realized:
a soul was reaching out, was reaching out for me its tender warmth and love, without a doubt.
And all my fears, they fled, and tears dropped on my knee - for joy and not for sorrow were they shed.
You came into my life and helped me love to use, against all odds and freely, without pain. Now I can share this love with others deep in blues, because I know now: love has got a name.
